Born in Torrent, Spain Vicente’s early youth career with Monte-Sión in 1995 before joining Valencia five years later.

Having made forty-six appearances for Valencia Mestalla, the stopper went on loan to Recreativo before returning to his parent club appearing seventy-six times.

In 2014 Vicente left the Mestalla Stadium after eight years and joined Getafe. The goalkeeper excelled at his new club and following promotion, establishing himself as one of La Liga’s leading keepers.

Having caught the attention of Premier League Crystal Palace, the keeper joined ‘The Eagles’ in the summer of 2018, having signed a pre-contract in January.

Vicente has firmly established himself as the number one at Selhurst Park, with his consistent performances helping the Spaniard gain a reputation as one of the very best goalkeepers in the England’s top flight.

After a season that saw him make 27 appearances in the Premier League, Vicente left Crystal Palace to join La Liga side Celta Vigo.

 Vicente made 154 outings during his time at Selhurst Park and left with 46 clean sheets under his belt.

 The Spanish shot-stopper will be looking to claim the starting spot under former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez at the Estadio de Balaídos.
