Gavin Bazunu
Shamrock Rovers youth graduate Gavin made his senior debut at the age of just 16 in a League of Ireland win over Bray in 2018.
He kept four clean sheets in his four league appearances for Shamrock and also turned out in the Europa League before being snapped up by Manchester City for a fee in the region of £420,000.
Making waves through the age ranks at City, Gavin was then named in Pep Guardiola’s matchday UEFA Champions League squad for their round of 16 clash against Real Madrid in 2020.
He was then loaned to Rochdale and Portsmouth to continue his impressive rise as a young goalkeeper.
It was at Fratton Park in League One where Gavin really caught the eye, winning the club's Players' Player and Player of the Season in just his second full season in senior football.
He was sold to Premier League side Southampton on a five-year deal for a fee in the region of £12million at the start of the 2022-23 season and was the youngest regular starting goalkeeper in the top-flight.
The Saints suffered relegation to the Championship, but Republic of Ireland international Gavin will be looking to take the club back to the Premier League at the first time of asking this season.
