The Moldova international started his career with FC Tiraspol, making nearly 80 league appearances, before a switch to Sheriff Tiraspol.

He won a league and cup double in 2007/08 and later had spells with Kuban Krasnodar, Volgar Astrakhan and Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol, prior to a switch to Azerbaijan side AZAL, ahead of the 2014/15 season.

With over 50 league appearances to his name, Stanislav joined Greek Super League side Levadiakos on a two-year deal in 2016 before moving to Montenegrin side Decic.

He then switched to Zeta for the 2018/19 season, where he was first-choice keeper, before a return to Azerbaijan, where he now plays for Kesla.

A former Moldova U19 and U21 international, Stanislav made his senior debut in a 5-1 defeat of Georgia in 2007 and has now played over 40 times for his country.
