Walton called up to England U20 squad
Young Brighton & Hove Albion keeper Christian Walton has made the England Under-20 squad for the 2015 Toulon Tournament in France.
The competition begins on May 27, with the Three Lions looking to improve on last year's fourth-placed finish.
Walton said: "It is a pretty prestigious tournament at this age group so I am really excited to be involved.
"You want to test yourself against the best young players in the world and prove your own quality, but you also want to be able to say you have won something for your country, so we are all going there looking to win it.
"Not many players can say they have played at an international tournament so I know what a huge opportunity this is and I just cannot wait to get started."
The call-up caps an excellent year for Walton, who made his Albion debut against Tottenham in the Capital One Cup and went on to make four senior appearances as well as cementing his place in the England U20 side.
