Lamprou set for pastures new?
Willem II goalkeeper Kostas Lamprou could be set to quit the club, with his contract expiring this summer.
The Sells endorsee has been first-choice keeper for the Eredivisie club since joining from Feyenoord three seasons ago, but talks over a new deal with 'The Tricolores' have failed to reach a positive outcome.
The news is likely to alert a number of clubs around Europe, but former Willem keeper Jim van Fessem is still hopeful the ex-Greek under-21 international will sign a new deal with a club that currently sits ninth in the Dutch top-flight.
"Kostas has proved its worth," he said. "He is calm and stable keeper. He is certainly the level of Willem II.
"I have yet to see whether he actually leaves, but I am satisfied that the door from both sides is still open.
"A better keeper you will not find for Willem II, a guy who works hard and is aligned with the fans.
"As I said, I think the door from both sides is still ajar. Then it is a matter of people sitting down and talking everything out. "
