Joining Aston Villa as a schoolboy, Myhill made his professional debut on loan at Bradford City during the 2002/03 season.

He also featured on loan at Macclesfield Town and Stockport County before signing a permanent deal at Hull City in December 2003.

Myhill helped the club from League Two to the Premier League, and made 55 appearances in the Tigers’ two seasons of top-flight football.

He also became a Wales international during this time, making his debut Luxembourg, and going on to win 19 caps.

In July 2010 he joined West Bromwich Albion and has since made over 80 appearances for the club.
