Starting his career with Modena in 2004, Aldo made his league bow with Rimini-based Valleverde Riccione during the 2005/06 season, where he went on to make 15 league appearances.
That summer he joined San Marino Calcio before a switch to Bellaria Igea in 2009, where he was a first-team regular for two seasons.
His form earned a move to Cesena in 2011 but it is with Sanmarinese side AC Libertas where he has spent the majority of his career, making over 100 league appearances in a six-year spell.
Currently with SP Tre Fiori, Aldo made his debut for San Marino in a European Championship qualifying defeat against Germany in September 2006 and now has over 60 international appearances to his name.
